And if you travel often, you know the frustration: that one tool you love stays at home because airport security says no.

We love everyday carry gear. But let’s be honest—most EDC tools either try to do too much and end up too bulky to carry, or do too little and never leave the drawer.

That’s why we created Tacto. TSA-friendly, quick to deploy, and always within reach—it’s ready to open, tighten, or jot without ever slowing you down.

What is Tacto

Tacto combines three of the most essential functions into one sleek, CNC-machined titanium body.

•  Cutter – Perfect for opening packages, slicing tape, or scoring cardboard.
•  Screwdriver – Ready for tightening gear, making quick fixes, or adjusting equipment on the go. 
• Eternal Pen Module (Optional) – For jotting notes, marking measurements, or sketching ideas the moment inspiration strikes.

Reliable Construction

Crafted from GR5 titanium and 440C stainless steel, Tacto is both light and strong. The titanium body keeps it tough and corrosion-resistant, while the 440C cutter holds a sharp edge you can count on. Together, they make Tacto durable enough to handle drops, resist wear, and stay waterproof—built to last through daily use.

Dual Bolt-Action — Cut, Fix, Write

Inspired by the bolt-action mechanism of a rifle, Tacto’s custom dual bolt-action system delivers that same smooth, confident motion into your everyday carry. It’s the kind of action EDC enthusiasts already love from premium pens—now built into a tool that does so much more.

Each end slides out independently—one for a sharp cutter, the other for a drive bit or pen. In a single, fluid thumb movement, Tacto goes from safe carry to ready-for-action. No flipping, no unscrewing—just a crisp click and you’re working.

Precision Cutter — 440C Steel, M390 Optional

The cutter tip is anchored by hardened 440C stainless steel—tough enough for daily slicing, prying, and scraping.
Each blade is professionally heat-treated to achieve the perfect balance of hardness and toughness, so it stays sharp longer and resists chipping even under stress.

This isn’t a fragile letter-opener. It cleanly slices packing tape, scores cardboard, scrapes off stickers, and even pops open paint cans.

When not in use, the blade retracts fully to sit about 2 mm below the surface—keeping your bag, your fingers, and even airport security safe.

Magnetic Bit Socket — 4 mm Standard

On the other end, Tacto accepts any 4 mm standard bit—yes, the good ones you already trust.

Need to tighten the hinge on your sunglasses? Swap a battery cover on a gadget? Adjust a tripod plate before the perfect shot? Just pop in the right bit and get it done.

A strong internal magnet locks the bit in place, holding steady even during actual work—not just for gentle turns at your desk.

Use it to create and to repair—the kind of moments where your hands bring ideas to life and keep your world running.

And when you’re done, a quick slide retracts it completely, keeping your pocket safe and snag-free.

Optional Eternal Pen Module — Always Ready

Writing with metal is a different kind of satisfaction—smooth, precise, and permanent.
Tacto uses the German Modern G15 eternal pen tip, enhanced with a custom attachment to fit perfectly into Tacto’s bit socket. It swaps in seconds—just like any screwdriver bit.

Once installed, it’s ready for anything: sign a delivery, sketch a quick idea before it slips away, or mark measurements on wood, metal, or cardboard—all without ink, refills, or drying out.

Because it’s solid metal, it writes in any weather, at any angle—making it the one writing tool you’ll never have to baby.
