    We are the Singing Planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the Sun are here too! The Moon and Pluto are our little friends. For over 7 years we have been delighting our young viewers, as well as their parents, with funny rhymes and melodies on our YouTube Channel – Singing Planets. In a fun, playful way, we sing, dance, count, draw, telling the kids about the Solar System and its inhabitants.

     The number of our fans around the world is approaching 100,000!!!

    And, given the interest of children in computer games, we decided to develop and release our own old-school 8-bit computer game called RUN PLANET RUN.

BACKSTORY.

    One sunny cosmic day, three cheerful planets – Mars, Earth, and Mercury – were zipping through space, basking in the golden glow of the Sun. They sang funny songs, played zero-gravity tag, and laughed like best friends.

    But suddenly – WHOOSH! 🌪️

    A mysterious cosmic pixel vortex has streaked through the stars, grabbed the planets while they were having fun, and sucked them into an old computer!

    Now trapped inside an 8-bit digital dimension, our friends have become pixelated heroes in a blocky world filled with tricky traps, old-school hazards, and sinister foes. Their only way out? Beat all LEVELs of the Game.

    To return home to their starlit space, the trio must team up, power-up, and roll through wild levels of retro madness – dodging dangers, solving puzzles, and singing their way past pixel-powered enemies. But lurking in the FINAL BATTLES are two terrible threats:

     The Evil Gray Cloud 🌫️ – hovering in space and freezing everything in its path, throwing razor-sharp and iceberg-cold snowflakes…

    And the monstrous Black Hole 🕳️ – a final boss who devours everything in its path, light, and hope!  

    Can Mars, Earth, and Mercury join forces, restore harmony, defeat all evil forces, and return home – to space? Or will they forever remain lost in the pixelated depths of the old virtual world?!

Character Description: 

    Name: Earth
    Role: Heroine / Cosmic Defender of Life

    Backstory:
    Forged in the primordial chaos of the cosmos, Earth is a living planet with a heart full of compassion. She’s the protector of balance, nature, and the tiny life forms that call her home. But now, with evil forces like Black Hole and Evil Gray Cloud threatening to devour the galaxy, Earth must rise from her orbit and accept the fight, to defend all that lives.

    Appearance:
    In classic pixelated 8-bit style, Earth has a glowing globe for a head, complete with shifting clouds and blinking continents. Her large, expressive eyes reflect oceans of emotion. She wears a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and pink sneakers – a symbol of her grounded love for humanity. Her arms glow with atmospheric energy, and her every step ripples stardust.

    Abilities:
    ⭐ Star Power – throws bright shining stars at the enemy.
    🏃 Fast Run – the heroine can run very fast, which allows her to quickly complete each Level of the Game and dodge opponents.
    🦘 High Jump – the heroine can jump very high, which also helps her quickly complete each Level of the Game and dodge opponents.
    ⌛️ Time Pause – the ability to stop the flow of time for a short period when she finds an hourglass while completing each Level of the Game.

    Personality:
    Wise, gentle, and fiercely protective. Earth is the emotional anchor of the universe. She speaks with calm authority and carries the weight of billions of lives in her pixelated soul. But don’t be fooled by her kindness – when provoked, she becomes a force of nature.

    “I’m kind, but strong!”

    Name: Mars
    Role: Hero / Cosmic Warrior of Fire and Iron

    Backstory:
    From the dusty canyons and iron-laced craters of the Red Planet, Mars emerges as a bold and battle-hardened warrior. He’s Earth’s fiery older brother, shaped by centuries of solitude and a thirst for adventure. Once a silent guardian, he now floats through space to join the cosmic fight, wielding the flames of ancient meteor storms and the strength of his molten core.

    Appearance:
    In pixel-perfect retro style, Mars has a reddish-orange planetary head marked by swirling dust storms and rugged terrain. His wide, determined eyes gleam with fiery resolve. He wears a dark T-shirt, denim jeans, and pixelated sneakers, grounding his cosmic power in a chill, no-nonsense attitude. His arms blaze with red energy, like coiled solar flares waiting to erupt.

    Abilities:

    Name: Mercury
    Role: Hero – Guardian of the Solar System Balance

    Backstory:
    Born from the blazing solar winds and forged in the heat of cosmic storms, Mercury is the youngest and fastest of the Planets. As the closest to the Sun, he has a fiery heart and an unmatched connection to solar energy. When dark forces from deep space threaten to pixelate the galaxy into chaos, Mercury rockets into action, defending the planetary realms with light-speed precision.

    Appearance:
    Mercury boasts a giant pixelated head styled like the scorched surface of the Mercury planet – deep purples, glowing oranges, and cosmic yellows streaked with crater-like patterns. His large, bright eyes are alert and full of purpose. Hi wears a yellow t-shirt, cool blue jeans, and green space-sneakers. His purple hands pulse with energy, ready to unleash pixel-powered justice.

    Abilities:

    “Too slow! I already saved the Galaxy twice today!”

    Character Description: Evil Gray Cloud

    Name: Grizzle
    Role: Anti-Hero / Planet-Eating Storm Beast

    Backstory:
    Once a harmless weather anomaly drifting in the lower orbit of Planet Hailon-7, Grizzle was mutated by dark cosmic radiation and cursed stardust. No longer bound to the skies of a single world, he evolved into a sentient, sarcastic, planet-swallowing space storm. Driven by a mysterious hunger and a love for freezing chaos, Grizzle now drifts through the galaxy like a ghostly iceberg in the void – devouring entire worlds, one frosty bite at a time.

    Appearance:
    A pixelated gray storm cloud with wicked eyes glowing with cosmic rage and an evil, toothy smirk. His form is surrounded by flickering stars and icy static. His body pulsates with storm energy, аnd the icy snowflakes that it shoots fly accurately and can cause great harm to planets.

    Abilities:
🌌 Galactic Frostbite – Launches a barrage of ice-charged snowflakes that freeze planets.
🌠 Void Drift – Floats silently through asteroid fields and space stations, phasing through matter and chilling everything he passes.
🌪️ Planet Swallow – make a swirling vortex in his mouth to suck small planets.
❄️ Cryo Nova – Unleashes a screen-shaking space blizzard, freezing planets.

    Personality:
    Cold-hearted, quick-witted, and smugly destructive. Grizzle isn’t out for conquest – he’s out for cosmic satisfaction. He mocks both heroes and villains alike, playing all sides in a galactic game of freeze-or-be-frozen. Deep down, he’s lonely… but he’d rather swallow a planet than admit it.

    Catchphrase:
    “I’m here! I’m hungry! And I’ve come to freeze you!”

    Character Description:

    Name: Black Hole
    Role: Anti-Hero / Cosmic Tornado Devourer

    Backstory:
    Born in the remnants of a collapsed star and forged in the gravitational fury of a dying galaxy, Black Hole is a sentient singularity with one purpose: consume and evolve. Unlike other black holes, this one thinks, feels, and hunts. She floats through space silently, pulling planets into her dark heart with a spiraling tornado funnel of doom.
But there’s more to Black Hole than endless hunger. Once a guardian of cosmic balance, she was betrayed by her creators and cursed with insatiable gravity.

    Appearance:
    In classic 8-bit style, Black Hole is a swirling pixel vortex with glowing red area at the center and a massive tornado funnel of red pixels spiraling from below. Stars, debris, and bits of shattered planets orbit her massive form as she drifts across space like a living maelstrom.

    Abilities:
🌀 Graviton Vortex – Summons a screen-wide tornado funnel that sucks up planets.
🌌 Singularity Surge – Unleashes a burst of gravitational energy, warping nearby space and pixelating anything too slow to escape.

    Personality:
    Dark, cryptic, and burdened by cosmic knowledge. Black Hole speaks in distorted echoes, often reciting ominous lines like poetry. She isn’t inherently evil – just driven by forces beyond comprehension. She’ll work with heroes if their paths align, but make no mistake: her hunger always returns.

    Catchphrase:
“Consume or you will be consumed!”
