Printing food is an interesting idea, but the food 3D printers on the market are too expensive. What we want is a flexible solution for food 3D printing, so we create LuckyBot – a replaceable 3D printer extruder. You can easily install it on your original 3D FDM printer, and print food in the shape you want in a flexible & affordable way.

Not everyone could cook like a Michelin star chef, but what if we bring the 3D print technology to your kitchen? You can print all the exquisite desserts with your 3D printer, easy same as you use it to print filament.

That’s why we create LuckyBot. It is compatible with most of the FDM 3D printers on the market. Just take a few minutes to install, then you can have a food 3D printer at a small cost.

LuckyBot is designed with a perfect size that is enough to fit most of FDM 3D printers on the market and utilize the printing size of the original 3D printer to allow you to print bigger size models.

Only 675g weight makes it fit your FDM 3D printer and not exceeding the limits of the motor’s capacity.

Three buttons to handle temperature control, lead screw adjustment with ease, no matter you are a professional or newbie, it only needs few minutes to get started.

As for the software part, you can follow the same procedures as you print filament to operate LuckyBot.

LuckyBot supports the printing of a variety of ingredients for any model you create, so you have more choices and more creativity. Whether it’s an expensive ingredient like chocolate, or a widely available ingredients like jam, cream, mashed potato, salad sauce, etc.

The temperature is the most important factor when we print food. With the advanced temperature control algorithm, we have improved the temperature control accuracy within ±0.5℃.

Food is different from filament in many physical properties. We will need a better motor control system to print food with the same accuracy.

LuckyBot is designed for food printing. Safety is the priority when we design LuckyBot, and all the materials are food grade. However, to make it could be used by everyone, we have enhanced the safety in power supply and temperature control. We ensure all ingredients completely sealed and do not touch the outside world during the whole printing process.

LuckyBot will automatically stop heating when open the door.

  • Lower temperature

Unlike the normal FDM 3D printers, which use filament as materials, needing a higher temperature to print, LuckyBot works under a much lower temperature (≤40℃ ).
