Codies can pick-up changes in your vocal tone and even non-verbal cues like body language and facial expressions (use local processing for privacy) to understand your mood, adding incredible nuance to your interactions. Unlock your Codie’s full potential through user-programmable ‘Spellbooks’. Think of them like apps or extensions that enable Codie’s to connect to APIs so they can find out who’s live on Twitch, teach you how to perform Wotagei (included) or anything you dream of. Upload your custom scripts and assets to CODE27 and select if voice/gestures commands, a touchscreen button or Codies trigger the Spellbook.

You control your Codie’s settings and safety.

Tired of censored responses? Then, simply turn off the filter. Tired of hearing AI repeating certain words or phrases? Then, ban them. If you want your Codies to be family friendly, you can decide what topics they can and cannot say. You are in control with our content safety tools.

Configure your CODE27 to use any cloud or local AI model through our simple model configuration tool. Every model has their own pros and cons and the ‘best’ one changes daily, so Codies can use any model to power their creativity and intelligence. Use cloud models like ChatGPT and Gemini or local models from DeepSeek or Qwen. (We will include a lifetime cloud subscription for all Kickstarter backers.)

Your privacy and security is a top priority so all interactions employ AES-256 encryption during transmission and storage. Data is stored on-device so no one can delete your characters or chats, except you. Cloud services use session-specific authentication to block unauthorized access. CODE27 has a physical cover for complete peace of mind.
