Buddy Safety was started to do just that. Build a better home security system.

We built a complete and comprehensive system from scratch. Focusing on using only premium materials and developing features that are original to our product line and hyper useful to you.

The buddy. app is user-friendly and intuitive. We built it to be just as capable as our devices. All of the most used tools are quickly accessible and we even built in features that are unique to our product line.

The buddy. System works with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa!

No hidden costs, no surprises, and no strings attached! We wanted buddy. to be as affordable as possible, so we built all the functionality into the devices themselves so that we don’t need the cloud to process the AI for the smart alerts. This results in both faster detections and no need for a monthly fee for the devices to operate.

All of the buddy. devices are built with recyclable materials, when it is time for our new devices to be released, we will ship you our new system and have you ship back your old system to us. We will then recycle any materials we can (such as the aluminum frame) into new devices.

We also ask that you give us feedback often so that we can make the best possible system for many years to come! There is a special part of the buddy. application that only backers will have access to where you can vote on the new designs and features for future devices.

buddy. AI Doorbell

One of the defining features of all the buddy. products is the use of a large LED ring or panel. When designing the devices our team wanted to build a way for the devices to communicate with you and your visitors in an effective and inviting way as well as serve as a deterrent for intruders.

The front of buddy. Doorbell features the signature LED ring, a large doorbell button, and a 12 Megapixel AI enhanced camera.

The top and bottom of the doorbell have both a speaker and a microphone.

The entire enclosure is made of CNC machined 7076 aluminum. We chose to use this material to ensure our products are as durable and premium as possible.

 

The back of the buddy. Doorbell features an area for you to wire your doorbell if your home is wired for a doorbell. It can run without being wired as it has a 10,000 mAH internal rechargeable battery. The battery can be recharged with a USB-C cable that is provided.

The buddy. Chime unit is powered by an internal 12,000 mAH battery, you can also plug in the unit to an outlet or power it via USB-C. The chime unit has a powerful and loud speaker to alert you when the doorbell has been pressed, door is open, or the alarm is triggered. You also get these alerts to your app!

How the buddy. Chime unit performs can all be customized to your liking in the buddy. application. You can change the sound it plays when the doorbell is pressed and even have the LED panel change colors when you have a package that has been delivere.

We built the buddy. Camera system modularly, so that you can place the cameras and floodlights where you need them. All of the ports can receive either a buddy. Camera or buddy. Floodlight.

The most popular ways that we have tested are shown in the graphic below, but you can definitely alter the placement to best suit your property’s needs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

buddy. AI Camera Object Tracking

Keep track of the things you care about, with the AI Object Tracking feature. The buddy. Camera will automatically move to make sure the objects you care about are always in frame. This feature is very useful for:

• Keeping an eye on pets (as seen in the app above and video below).
• Keeping an eye on your children.
• Following suspicious people.
• Patrolling your yard at set times.

buddy. Camera Pan/Tilt/Zoom

Use the joystick to move the camera up or down and side to side. You can also pinch to zoom the camera.

You can set the LED ring to glow red at night to deter would be intruders, this can be set to stay on all night or only turn on if motion is sensed.

We believe that your security devices should look as good as they perform. We went to great lengths to design our devices to be aesthetically pleasing and enhance your home’s curb appeal. We also worked very hard to create original designs that do not look like anything currently on the market.

With the buddy. Dual Camera, you can have two cameras in a small form factor. The cameras seamlessly work together to cover two zones at once to make sure you never miss a thing.

Each buddy. Camera has a 10,000 mAH battery built in and then when they are plugged into the 25,000 mAH Battery Wall mount it provides a whopping 45,000 mAH of power! This allows the buddy. Dual Camera set up to work wire-free for over 18+ months without needing to be recharged. Truly set it and forget it!

Don’t let a corner create a blind spot for you! With the buddy. Dual Camera you can see around corners, making sure you are always in the know!

buddy. 12 in 1 Room Sensor

The buddy. 12 in 1 Room Sensor is an incredibly capable device. Powered by an internal rechargeable battery that provides a 2 year battery life, this device is like no other currently available on the market.

The buddy team wanted to build a camera-less device that you could place anywhere in your home and provide you with important notifications without interfering with your privacy.

These sensors can also be used to trigger other home automation tasks, such as turning lights off when no one is present or adjusting the thermostat.

With our 12 in 1 Room Sensor, you can select the features you want and only get alerts you care about. We designed this sensor to be very capable and in a small sleek shape that would add to any room it is placed in.

You can also adjust the sensitivity level of every feature.

buddy. Door/Window Sensor

We wanted to make sure that the buddy. ecosystem was complete and so we also built an open/close door and window sensor. Place this sensor on any door or window that you want to be notified when it is open or closed. This sensor interacts with the buddy. Chime to play a noise when a door or window is opened and the system is disarmed, or trigger an alarm noise if the system is armed.

Easy Installation

Installing a buddy. device is as easy as 1…2…3!

1 – Screw in the back plate mount for the buddy. Doorbell or Cameras. Peel off the sticky back of the buddy. 12 in 1 Sensor or the buddy. Open/Close Door/Window Sensor.

2 – Line up the holes and apply some pressure. You will hear a gentle “click” noise.

3 – Wiggle the device to make sure it is tightly secured.
